Robert received his Bachelor of Arts & Science degree from the University of Saskatchewan, College of Arts and Sciences in 1979 and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law in 1984. He was admitted to the Saskatchewan Bar in 1985 and is a partner with Forrester Heinrichs Law Firm where he has practiced since his admission to the Saskatchewan Bar.
Robert received his King’s Counsel designation in 2014.
Robert’s general practice focuses primarily in the areas of commercial, residential and agriculture business and real estate law as well as wills and estates administration. He represents a wide variety of clients ranging from individuals to corporations, banks and Credit Unions. He has operated a branch office in Leader, Saskatchewan since 1988.
Robert served as a part-time member on the National Parole Board for six years and as a Bencher of the Law Society of Saskatchewan for six years. He was president of the Law Society of Saskatchewan in 2014.
Robert has lectured extensively on a variety of topics throughout his career including Business Start-Up, Agriculture Succession Planning and Access to Legal Services.
